The Tiger. The Goat. GeeTo. The Great One. The Humbler. Call it what you will, but when the Pontiac GTO was introduced to America in September 1963, it created an entirely new market segment that sparked a reaction throughout the auto industry. Today we know that reaction as the muscle-car era.
For the first GTO in Dream Giveaway history, we searched out the ultimate GTO for one lucky winner. And guess what? We found it! It’s a fully restored Goat documented by Pontiac Historic Services and judged worthy enough to take home a highly coveted Gold Concours certification from the Pontiac-Oakland Club International.
So c'mon and turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO and get ready to score the most sensational example from the GTO’s amazing history — a Tri-Power, four-speed 1965 GTO.
Plus if you’re the winner, we’ll pay $10,000 for taxes and fly you to Clearwater, Florida, to be awarded this grand prize.
The 1965 GTO was fully restored to the highest points-judged standards, and inspected by a national GTO scoring judge for correctness and authenticity.
It’s one of the rarest, mightiest 1965 GTOs ever produced, with a stunning Montero Red exterior and super-cool Parchment interior. This classic Goat is a collector-car lover’s dream come true from a bygone era, thanks to a 360hp, 389ci Tri-Power engine, a four-speed manual transmission, and a Positraction limited-slip differential. But wait, there’s more. The ordering dealer checked off two little-known factory options that are so rare that less than 1 in 100 GTOs ever had them: the transistorized ignition and metallic brake linings. And that’s not all. This super, old-school GTO was ordered without horsepower-robbing power accessories like power steering or power brakes. It’s truly as classic a muscle car as Pontiac ever produced.
When you enter to win this concours-restored GTO, you are helping out our military and children in need.
